Various Vegetables Radio #64 | Yellow Magic Vegetables

Wow! What a nice bowl of yellow magic vegetables. And while we let it fly trough our system we kinda try to find out what Ryuichi Sakamoto played before Plaid played Plaid. And guess what! It’s yellow, it’s magic and it’s kinda orchestral. And then – just to hang out a little – we play some House. Because we’re into that kinda stuff, you know. And then, whoa! Still some time left! Let’s play a Mix. Eutechnik Style! Because that’s what the kids are into these days. And we go with the flow.

Magic!

Various Vegetables Radio #55 | Whitey on the Moon making Politics of Doom

Media reports just in claiming that the President of the United States of Demon Crazy personally visited the Moon colony to assess the situation on-site. His first reports have just returned and he tells of the discovery of a forgotten race of white skinned people. Upon first contact, they agreed to support the President in ruling Planet Earth from a central lunar government. As responsible journalists, we now ask: Is it time to Fact-Check this story?
Nope…

Instead, we accompany this incredible event musically.
Following the cycles of space and time, we will lead you through the following stages

seduction, destruction, revolution and re-awakening

with musical examples from psychedelic rock, jazz and hip-hop.
For this project, we had the great fortune to be able to open a channel to a parallel universe.
From this, guests from past and present, such as Captain Beefheart, Sun Ra, Gill Scott Heron, Nina Simone, Mr Lif and Roots Manuva will tell their side of the story.
